miguelation is a solo project of Miguel Teixeira (guitarist and founder of Outbreak with drummer André Aires Augusto). The composition of the songs started in July 2005, with the born of Ui!

The appearance of Miguelation is due to the continuous composition of new songs by Miguel and his thirsty of being at stage.

Miguelation is a Funk Rock thing with a simple band formation. 12 songs are already made and will soon be shown here! 9 Ideas are being processed!

All the songs have Portuguese Lyrics. The main Voices are singed by Miguel.

The songs published here, were all composed, recorded and produced by Miguel Teixeira, some with the collaboration of other musicians: drums, bass and keyboards (see credits).

At this point Miguelation is rehearsing and recording with the collaboration of other musicians, to start showing his music to the public.

Miguel Teixeira started is musical studies with violin, when he was eight years old, in the school: Escola Orff do Porto and started playing electric guitar in the same school, when he was 12 years old, his first teacher was Nuno Mendes (first Guitarist of Bandemónio (Pedro Abrunhosa e os Bandemónio), Guitarist and producer of Foge Foge Bandido with Manuel Cruz), followed by Vítor Silva, when he had 14/15 years old.

Outbreak was a medium recognized Portuguese band that played for 9 years (1995-2004) all over the country. Doing a mixture of funk, acid-jazz and rock with ten musicians, they played in all the summer festivals of the country and opened shows of famous bands in Portugal, like Xutos e Pontapés and Rádio Macau. Some Live Concerts were at: Festival Sudoeste 2000 (Blitz Stage), Queima das fitas de Braga - Enterro da Gata 2000, Festival Tejo 2001 (Optimus Stage), with the main concerts of Mão Morta and Sérgio Godinho, Festival Carviçais Rock 2000 with the main concert of Silence Four, Festival Vilar de Mouros 2001, Festival SuperBock 2001, Queima das Fitas do Porto 2001, opening Xutos e Pontapés, Palco 6 SoundSystem in 2000 e 2002 and AulaMagna (Optimus 2001). They recorded two EPs and a song for the compilation Optimus 2001 CD.
